This was the most inconvenient experience I've ever had with a business. I left 3 bracelets with Christie's to have their clasps repaired. A very simple request. Nothing complex on any of them, except perhaps 1, that would need a more complex clasp. She told me it would take a week and cost 40$. That seemed reasonable to me. A week later, I called to check in, and got no response. I decided to walk to the business during business hours, and was met with a lit open sign and a locked door. Every day they were open, I called. Never got an answer until the following Monday (about 10 days after my initial entry). Upon calling she told me that her child got the flu. "oh okay, I understand, no worries," I thought. She told me it would probably be another day or two till my bracelets were done. Fair, I can deal with that. A week later, I repeat the process of calling, showing up during business hours, and being met with a locked door and lit open sign. Finally the phone is picked up (2 weeks after my initial entry) and she tells me that my bracelets are done, and 1 of them was too difficult to repair. I'm a little annoyed by this, but whatever. She didn't call me to tell me this, I had to continually call until she answered. I say I will come by that day to pick them up, she says no problem. I do so, and am once again met by a locked door and lit open sign. That was 2 days ago. I am writing this review while standing outside her store, 29 minutes after they are scheduled to open to pick up my bracelets that I left with her over 3 weeks ago. I will never do business with Christie's again.

Christie goes the extra mile and then some, and is committed to making the customer happy. I had a Seiko watch go south --- she researched it and swapped out components/factory warranty (I think it was out of warranty, and Seiko still did it) for no charge. Even when there is a charge, it is VERY reasonable, compared to other shops. She KNOWS watch and jewelry repairs, and is very knowledgeable and experienced.

I have taken my dad's pocket watch and a charm bracelet setting for my mother and BOTH different times, my dad and I were both thrilled at the work. Yes, it did take a little longer than we expected, but the price was fair and the work was excellent! Plus, she's the only one I know around that will still do engraving and it looks Awesome! Thank you Christie and I Will be taking my and my daughter's charm bracelets to you in the future! â¤â¤â¤â¤

I LOVE this place. Dropping off jewelry owned by my belated mother is both emotional and scary as I could not stand to lose the precious heirlooms. Christie understands this, and she does exceptional work. Trustworthy and talented are the two most important traits in a jeweler, and these words perfectly describe Christie.
