I work in customer service so I know how hard it is when people complain and yell at you. I’m never one to get upset with people about refunds or anything like that. I know when I’m in the wrong but this place has the worst customer service and they fought with me even though they were wrong. I went in to get my daughter’s ears pieced on September 12th 2017. My daughter was 4 months. The blonde girl who did them said she needs to pierce them with rapid earrings and it was going to be 68.99 before tax. I said I want the Standard ones because my first daughter got it done at Clair’s in January of 2016 and everything went great with the standard ones. She said no sorry I need to do the rapid ones. She was trying to make me buy more things and spend more money. Then she told me to clean them twice a day and after a bath or swimming. One week later my daughters ears started acting up. I called in and the manager said they can repriece her ears. I said okay Great I’ll bring her in after I get her checked out by her doctor and make sure she can get them done again. I asked if I should bring the old pair back because I don’t need them. And the manager said no. I took my daughter to the doctor’s on October 3 2017. He gave me the okay. So I went in on October 7th and the manganer refused to do them. She didn’t even touch my daughters ears or take a good look at them she took one glance at me and my daughter and she said sorry if it was my child I wouldn’t do them again. So I’m not doing them. She said it’s up to you your chose but I’m not pierceing her ears again. She made me feel like I was an inadequate mother for wanting to pierce my daughter’s ears again. After getting the okay from the doctors. So I went to Clair’s the sister company. The manager there looked at her ears and said nothing looked wrong and she said she would do them. She said for infants you have to clean them 3 times a day and after any water contact with the ears. We haven’t had a problem with them since. I went back with my mother to get my money refunded by icing. And they said we are sorry about that and we will refund it to you, just bring the receipt tomorrow and we can give it back you. Great! awesome! I was finally happy with them. I literally just went in today to get my money back and the manger didn’t even want to handle it. She had the girl who pierced my daughter’s ears give me an extensive history of her pierecing people’s ears and other body parts and how it wasn’t her wrong doing. She said I’m not refunding the money. And I told her yes it is your wrong doing because I came in before the 30 days with the doctors approval. And you guys still wouldn’t do it. Even though you explain the cleaning process wrong. Then she tried saying that I brought my daughter back in when her ears were swollen and red to repierce them. I would never do that! And the woman at Claire’s would never have pierced her ears that same day if that was so. They fought me about the horrible information they gave me. And the the fact that they wouldn’t pierce my daughter’s ears again. They didn’t even refund me the proper amount of money. They refunded me $52 instead of the 74 after tax. They said it’s because I didn’t have a receipt but I had the pink paper showing which one I paid for with the money amount on it. They wouldn’t give me the pink paper back. They refunded me the standard earrings instead of the rapid ones. Even though I brought back the earrings and the rapid soulition. I will never shop here ever again. I will never do ear piercing here ever! Go to Clair’s the women there are nicer and they deal with infants all the time. I’m still kicking myself for not going there in the first place. This would have never happened if I went to Clair’s. The women that work at icing in Murray don’t know what they are doing when it comes to babies. They have the nastiest attitude. And they will fight you until the end to prove they are right and you are wrong and make you feel like your nothing.
