We've had a terrible experience with Zales over the past few months. They keep misplacing my wife's ring and whenever we go there to pick it up they can't find it. We brought the ring in before Christmas of 2017. They not only haven't done what they were supposed to do in the past 3 months, but they also haven't even been able to find the ring...on TWO different occasions...extremely disorganized and unprofessional. We brought the ring in for a standard 6 month cleaning/inspection, a very simple task, and they have completely failed to perform the task and keep track of the ring itself. Prior to us coming in to pick up the ring in Orem (and we live up in Sandy) they either called or sent an email saying it was ready for pick up, and then when we show up they either didn't perform the cleaning/inspection or they can't even find the ring. And neither time did they offer us any kind of compensation for their screw up and our taking a decent chunk out of our busy schedules to come pick it up. This is the poorest example of customer service. When a company takes an unreasonably long time to do an extremely simple task, and when they misplace an item and when they summon you to their place of business to pick up your ring and don't even have it I would at LEAST expect some kind of offer, discount, reward, or compensation of some sort, but they have not offered anything of that nature. The first time they sent an email about the ring not being ready yet I replied with my frustration in a professional manner expressing my disappointment and hopes for them to make up for their mistake, and they simply did not respond to my email. Avoid this Zales at all costs. I don't know about other Zales stores, but this one is super disorganized and just makes excuses to cover their own butts. If a Zales rep responds to this review in an effort to set everything right I MIGHT consider editing this review. But I highly doubt they will even look at this.

I went to look for an engagement ring and the sales women were very helpful in finding ring options. They helped me narrow my options by preference and budget. I am a super picky individual about jewelry and I know I was being such a pain, but they were very sweet and patient the entire time of my visit.

I would give it 5 because of their customer service but I give it 4 because of their prices. They had really pretty engagement rings and a lot that we really liked but they were overpriced by like $2000. And they said they could gets the price down but they just do that to make you feel like you're getting a good discount on it. The customer service was amazing. The lady who helped us was funny and understood our preferences. She never tried to sell us something we didn't want.

My wife and I went in four months ago to get my wedding ring. We got a 6mm 10k gold ring for around $400. We have now been married for three months, and today, I found that the ring had a crack in it. It goes all the way through it, still one piece. I called today and they said that to fix it, it would cost $200 (even with a life time warranty), but luckily we didn't buy the warranty which would have been a complete waste of money. But really, four months after buying a $400 ring and no help nothing. Totally ripped off. Not worth even stopping in to look at rings here because they don't care about their customers at all. They are a terrible company out for money and not helping people.
