I went to Kay Jewelers at Fair Oaks Mall a few weeks ago looking for a ring for my girlfriend (now Fiance!) The staff there, particularly Lauren and Manjit, were extremely helpful and truly cared more about me providing the best for my girlfriend then they were about making a sale. They helped me through the entire process, spent time coaching me on the 4 C's and all the other details that I never knew about diamonds, when through an entire catalog of their diamonds on their tablets, and ultimately made me feel extremely comfortable in making the right decision on the ring. I cannot say enough great things about those two, or the store as a whole. I recommend any guy that is making a decision on a ring, or any other jewelry, highly consider this store because I promise you they will coach you in detail on the jewelry and you will feel confident when giving the gift, or in my position, proposing! I would advise staying away from here if you need a ring. The Asian lady that helped us was incredibly short with us, consistently and aggressively tried to push add-ons to our purchase (No, I do not want another line of credit) , explained almost nothing, and was incredibly rude. She said my girlfriend's finger was "that big?", proceeded to help another customer while working with us (there was another free employee working), and overall had a very bad attitude. She had very little customer service knowhow. Now I admit I wasn't buying anything very expensive, but that doesn't change the fact that I am a customer. I felt demeaned, belittled, and overall humiliated. We will see if it is better when we go back to pick up the ring from a resizing, but I doubt anything will change.

Horrible shopping experience. Waited a while before someone asked us if we were being helped. Wanted to purchase a ring for an upcoming event. They had great difficulty entering my information in on their tablet and after 5 unsuccessful attempts they finally did it on the regular computer. I woke up this morning to discover that they charged my card twice for the same purchase. It then took over half an hour on the phone with the store only for them to tell me that hey cannot fix the issue and that I will need to call the Kay Costumer Service line when they are open tomorrow. The store didn't even apologize for double billing my card. If you have time to waste and enjoy the headache of trying to get something simple fixed then I recommend buying from here. However, if you value your time and enjoy when things are done correctly the first time I suggest going to a different jeweler.

The worst experience at a Jewelary store. I was told to come and pick up the items, when I get there there is a long waiting time. The ordering process was not any better. My last time in this store.
