We went into the store briefly before heading to the movies just to look around. We have been customers of helzberg for a few years now. I was greeted by multiple associates and was asked if there was anything they could help with. They always offer to clean my rings up which I love and they always let me look at my diamond under that light. They were very polite and down to earth, working in customer service that's huge, it's their job to try and sale but it's nice to be shown items without feeling pressured. I will always go to this helzberg as long as I live in Virginia.

I have shopped at Helzberg for the better part of 10 years. I have more jewelry from them than I care to admit. So, when my fiancé proposed with a Helzberg ring, I was absolutely excited. I also knew I wanted to have my mothers wedding band remade into my wedding band. Thus, I went to where I always go! I am not creative by nature. I had a rough idea of what I wanted done, but articulated it poorly. I spoke with Derek and Nick and together they took the time and patience to truly understand what it was I wanted to achieve. They didn't criticize my lack of knowledge, but rather educated me on the entire process. I always knew where I was, what was possible, what could be tried, and what to expect. Derek managed to sketch precisely what I had in mind and then reached out to several different custom jewelers in their network. After 6 weeks, I was able to see photo proofs and a 3D printed model of my future band. I was able to make any changes I wanted and never felt that I was being difficult. When I picked up my ring, I was in pure shock and absolutely elated with how perfect it was. I highly, highly recommend stopping in and working with these guys!!

While shopping with my best friend a few weeks ago, I decided to check out a few jewelry stores as my husband recently lost his wedding band. As much as I was checking out selection, I was scoping the customer service. I stated up front that I would not purchase without my husband present, and there's no quicker way to assess customer service than to tell the salesman you aren't spending money today. Some stores blew me off immediately while others tried to redirect me to items for myself that I might buy on impulse. Nicholas Gloria at Helzberg was polite and helpful without being pushy. My husband found his ring, but I kept Nicholas' card for future use. It's the only card I kept, and I shopped every jewelry store in the mall.

Worst service by assistant managers and store manager Derek! Customer service just isn't what it used to be, especially with the store in Lynnhaven mall. They sold me charms back in 2011 and convinced me each charm after purchasing their warranty would be covered. I've had my charms on a pandora bracelet and every time it was inspected but the "new" manager will not update my inspection card because it's on a Pandora bracelet. I would rather pay more for a charm somewhere else than to EVER visit that store again!

Like this store better than the one in Norfolk. I'm just annoyed that every time I take my ring in every 6 months I have at least 6 or more prongs missing that have to be replaced and during that 6 months I usually have to come back in to get diamonds replaced because they fall out. Luckely I don't have to pay for it because I'd be pretty mad about it. I'm only annoyed now cause I would like to be able to wear my ring all the time.
