I went to Touchstone Jewelers to sell a couple of pieces of jewelry. Both pieces had been appraised at least four different times; spanning thirty-five years. The pieces had always been appraised from $5500 to $7750. In fact, one of the pieces was determined to be 'like new'; which stands to reason as I had only worn it one time for a couple of hours. The initial consultation resulted in referring me to the owner, a gemologist. He proceeded to tell me that the item was not 'like new' as it didn't lay straight. AND yellow gold is not as popular as white gold. This was after he made me wait for 30 minutes; AND proceeded in offering me $345 for a tennis bracelet appraised at $7750. Also, I liked a ring there because I liked the color. When I looked at it, it looked like costume jewelry and yet was priced at $595. All the other jewelry looked worn as well. The owner clearly is more interested in scamming people like myself, than providing quality jewelry. Also, I wanted to note that I have walked in to good jewelery stores ANYWHERE and asked for slight repairs/cleanings and been provided these services and not charged. When Touchstone was examining my diamond necklace they found the diamond in my necklace was loose. They offered to tighten it and later charged me $20! So it is clear these people are all about money. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

I bought a bridal set here about a week ago. I had no knowledge about jewelery whatsoever but Brandi explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. She was very helpful and went out of her way to search for rings for me which the other jewelers I went to (Kay, Van's, and Fred Meyer jewelers) did not. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get any jewelery!! P.S. She said yes!!!😁😁😁😁😁

I've just gone in one time but for all the places I've gone to see about selling a piece of jewelry this place by far was the friendliest. The owner was so nice and I got a great amount of knowledge while I was waiting from another worker who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I'll definitely make this my new place of choice.
