Very nice staff. Good prices on doing things like resizing of rings, etc.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. My husband bought my ring here and he said they were very open and friendly. Their prices are the cheapest around and I absolutely love my ring! We went back in a month before the wedding because my ring was a bit too loose and they sized it down to a 4.5 which is really hard to do. I recommend everyone to them!

The staff are very helpful. The selection is good, and prices are usually decent.

Bad store. They don't do anything right.

I've shopped at the Tumwater Fred Meyer Jewelers for years and considered it my go-to store for reasonably priced jewelry items and services. Unfortunately my experience getting my fiancée's engagement ring resized and clasps redone has caused me to look elsewhere for future jewelry purchases. When I brought the ring in a week ago, I was told that it would be ready one week later--a date listed on the receipt as "promised by date." When I came in on that date I was told that their jeweler was in another city and that it would be one more day. Fine. Things happen. But normally when a retailer fails to live up to their end of an agreement they make some gesture to make it right in the name of quality customer service. What I got from James (the service rep) was a half-hearted apology and the advice that I come back the next day. When I pointed out that his store had failed to live up to the "promised by date" his response was essentially "so what?" To his credit, James did leave me a voicemail the night before informing me of the delay but the fact of the matter remains the same. Fred Meyer Jewelers does not take their "promised by date" seriously and would not even offer a token gesture of say 5-10% off a $150 service order which basically says "sorry we failed to live up to our end of the deal." UPDATE: I picked up the ring the next day and the sales person (not James) mentioned that I'd be receiving a 10% discount because of the "incident" the day before. Obviously the whole experience wasn't what I would've wanted but kudos to Fred Meyer Jewelers for making it right eventually.
