I went to Fred Meyer Jewelers this past weekend to A) have my wedding ring resized and B) talk about different options to wear an inherited ring that is currently several sizes too small. First of all, the salesman (Sean) made me feel awful about myself, making a big deal about how many sizes I went up. Yep, seven years and two kids later, most of us imperfect moms go up a size or two (it was only size and a half in my case). Then, when I asked about my heirloom ring (a small solitaire diamond), I asked what my options were. He told me that it was “too expensive†(I had given no budget at this point) and that having it resized would ruin the metal. When I suggested having the diamond put into a new setting, he told me not to do that, to leave it as is. He would not even show me any rings. Fuming, I then went across the hall to Rogers and Holland’s and had a fantastic experience.

I purchased a ring with my grandsons birthstone in it. It took almost 10 weeks to get the call it was in only to make the trip & find out they put the wrong month stone in. Beautiful ring once it was right altho I don't think I'd go back or recommend to others

If you buy here, beware the goldsmith is garbage. I've been in this location 5 separate times to have my wife's ring fixed, and I go to pick it up and a diamond is almost out.. which is why I brought it in the first place....stick with Kesslers people, I wish I would have.
