Completely Unprofessional !!! I ordered two tiny sterling silver rings for my daughter when she lost her brother (not from Zales) and had them personalized. Unfortunately they arrived too small. She was disappointed, but I told her we could have them resized. I sent my daughter to several jewelers and in most cases, it was more expensive to size the rings than to just order new ones – with the exception of Zales! They quoted here a price of $35.00 each and I told her to go ahead. I called them to verify the price and ask a few follow up questions, (since they told my daughter they didn’t even know for sure if they were sterling and thought they might be stainless steel.) They told me it was 35.00 each. When my daughter went to pick them up, they gave a total of over a hundred bucks! More than I spent on the STERLING SILVER rings in the first place. I would not agree to pay that as the quoted price was 35.00 each. After calling her district manager, the store clerk came back with an offer of 10% off because when my daughter dropped them off, she signed a document, (which was most likely left blank and filled in after the fact). I could not agree to that so I had to have my daughter walk away from them. Now, they have her personalized rings, and a continued (as I am now hearing from others) reputation of terrible customer service.

Love my engagement ring, dislike the service. 1)My paperwork only says custom design. No details/size/anything about my ring. When I asked if they had any details they said, they had no records of my ring. It probably was not done or misplaced due to bad staffing. 2)Took my ring in on June 28th to be sent in to resize and get appraised. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks. No big deal. Called today to find out my ring didn't even get sent out until July 11, a week and a half later, and it was JUST received by the actual jeweler and would be another 2-3 weeks. They have no other update except that it was received. I was told this happened due to staffing problems and that they are sometimes closed because of zero staff. Not an excuse, at least they could have called to update and apologize that the ring just left their store. Thank goodness I have pictures and have insurance on my ring outside of Zales because I do not trust them any longer.
