We had made a purchase during their boxing day promotion, only to be mistakingly charged full price by their representative. After figuring their mistake out once we returned home, we had decided to pursue some sort of financial reimbursement. After speaking to the representative and the manager we were told that there was no way we could receive our money back, and the best they could do was offer us in store credit in return. No money/credit refund. This truly is the worst type of customer service when it comes to return policies. Especially considering how eager they were to take our money, and how resistant they are to return what's rightfully ours after their own undoing.

I had my ring from Metalsmiths for five years. I loved it. It was a wedding band. Plain and simple but durable. I will be buying a replacement soon as I lost it down the tub drain. :( This is a great place to go if you are looking for quality.

DON'T EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Customer service is horrendous! They are unable to supply products they advertise, and will not exchange or compensate in any way for mistakes made by company or employees!

As far as product goes this is a good company to buy quality sterling silver. As far as working for this company I say don't. They are unprofessional, antagonistic and do not adhere to Alberta Labour Law. As well, three weeks later I am still waiting for my final pay cheque. "the cheque is in the mail" yeah right, Good luck to anyone who has the misfortune of working for Metalsmiths Sterling.
