I rarely write review of anything, but I have to reflect a fair comment in response to the recent poor review. I have been a customer of this jewellery store for many many years. I prefer to buy from Ken is because he explain fully the quality of the item, always uses the high end quality, in metal, casting and the precious stones, and is very unique in design. The price may be a little bit more, but we are willing to pay for superior qualities, and the unconditional continuous after sales care. Free cleaning, sizing for rings, inspection of the condition etc. I find that Ken would do anything within reasons to keep a happy customer, and I am happy for many year, and more. Thank you Ken.

UPDATED: I am thoroughly impressed with Ken’s followup with my husband and I. He has not only updated the policies surrounding the warranty issue that we had but he has gone above and beyond with my husband and I!!! He’s met with my husband a few times to answer any and all questions we had and has been on top of communicating with us through this process. And the huge act of genuine customer service is that he has refunded us the cost of our diamond!! To us, these things have shown us Ken’s integrity and have solidified our trust in him as a goldsmith! Also, we’ve learned through this process of going to another goldsmith that Kens amazing attention to detail is not comparable to others. He is by far the most talented goldsmith we’ve come across yet. Thank you Ken. I’m not one to leave lengthy reviews on anything, but I feel that my story is one I need to share. Not to stop you from shopping at Dallany but to explain why I never will again in hopes that you do your research and ask the right questions if you decide to shop there. My husband purchased my engagement ring from Dallany in December of 2013. They gave him “everything he needs to know about his policy and ring” in an envelope. Over the next 4 ½ years I went in to Dallany twice – they looked at my ring and cleaned it and explained to me (first time in a jewellery store!) that it was courtesy and ‘why not’. Fast forward to this past November. A diamond fell out of my ring and was nowhere to be found. I called Dallany and was told that my 5 year warranty would cover something like that. So, I went straight into the shop that day. When I got there they said that they refused to honor the warranty because I didn’t come in enough times over the last 5 years and even though “this is exactly the kind of wear and tear we’d expect from something after 5 years” it was considered excessive because a diamond was missing. And when I pointed out that they had never told us that a certain amount of visits was a requirement for their warranty ANY of the times we had been in and that it wasn’t in writing ANYWHERE – they responded with “It doesn’t need to be in writing. If your ring was important to you, you would’ve asked more questions.” I burst into tears and left. They proceeded to tell my husband it would cost approx. $1100 to fix it. He asked to speak to the owner, Ken, and when he came out to talk to my husband he quoted us everything all in at $800. We decided that we were happy that he was willing to work with us even a little bit on cost as we felt that we were within their warranty requirements. The one condition was that he asked us to wait until after Feb 14 because they were swamped with the holidays. So we said ok, and left. Fast forward to Feb 15. We went back into Dallany WITH the quote hand written by the owner of this place. When we got there the sales ladies told us “ you are way out of your warranty now. And that there was no way that Ken would agree to this and that they’d be talking to him” and told us to “expect it to cost a lot more.” He called us and told us it’d cost a minimum of $1400 just for the diamond and work would now be a few hundred on top of that! I decided to take my rings to a few other places for a second opinion – I was warned by multiple jewelers that this was something to steer clear of and have since gotten my work done elsewhere for much less. IF you decide to shop here. Ask the questions, because they do not give you any written explanations of your warranty. Get everything in writing and do your due diligence. I wish I knew more about jewellery warranties before going through this entire experience. It was not fun.

Ken is amazing! He helped us designed our engagement ring and it turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Great customer service and he's super helpful. His design and styles are immaculate. Words cannot describe how happy we are with our rings, and necklace. He now is my personal jeweller, I've been coming back for EVERYTHING!!! Thanks Ken!

They have many selections beautiful designs. Some jewelry showed creativity. Price ranges are good from simple less than a$100 piece to elaborate but beautiful pieces. They really help you out to find the best piece.

Overpriced selections, pushy sales woman who always seems to be there 24/7 and butts in if you get served by some other sales person. I thought she was the owner but apparently not. No refunds on purchase here. Would have been better if I went to People's Jewelers.
