Thanks Steve for taking time to look at my sons rock he found. We were not sure if it had value and you took time and care to give us an estimate. See you soon! Jeffrey klassen

I got my fiancees engagement ring at Universal Gems, the gentlemen were great to deal with. I got an amazing ring at a great price, they were able to meet me at my budget which was fantastic. It was nice not to have to pay mall rent prices. We got the ring sized quickly and with an appraisal and my fiancee could not be more happy with the result. While I understand some of the River Heights type of crowd might be put off with the men working here (as per previous negative reviews), both my fiancee and I loved dealing with them. I would definitely be back and we will be, when we get our wedding bands to match.

Have taken in a lot of jewellery for repair, and had them replace the lost diamond in my engagement ring. The prices were more than fair, way less than the mall shops (and no snooty attitude). Fully recommend them! I'll be back!

I went in to Gem Trading to have some jewelry repaired and had a great experience while dealing with them. They were very welcoming and gave me insightful information on the true value of what I was having repaired so that I wouldn’t have to waste my money unless I still chose to have it repaired. In other words, they gave me a couple of options to consider . I felt like they weren’t just there to take my money but explained where the value of jewelry really comes from.
