Best stone and mineral collecting store in the city. Wide variety of items from around the globe, staff that know what they are talking about, lots of rare and unique samples and they sell them all at a fair price. This place has some samples of stone that I had never seen before, helping me learn more about geology in the process. If you like rocks and geology as much as I do, then go there as soon as you can.

I love this little shop. If you like crystals this is your store. Huge selection, very friendly staff. Not always the best prices but hey, they gotta run a business.

Fun shop with knowledgeable staff. I always search out gem & mineral shops when I visit a new city. Anchorage has 2! While the other one is bigger and fancier, this place is more charming and has the locally mined rough (Alaskan Jade and andesite). They actually do the lapidary works at the shop. They also have a small selection of gem beads and finished jewelry. I had a fun time looking through all the bins and drawers of clearly labeled specimens.
