They train there employees to lie to get a sale, by not disclosing all of the criteria for returning a purchase. Then they give you something for free to try to smooth you over. They got me this time , but NEVER again.

I started off loving daniels jewelers now they are at the bottom of my list. Don't believe any of their coupons because they will flat out refure them. Stay away. I attached my email to them telling them they can keep their supposed charge card. My name is Kenneth De Pablo. I am writing this because my experience at daniels jewelers started off on an awesome note. I bought my fiancee her engagement ring at your Culver City location back in november of 2012. Roxy the store manager gave me great service and I am very thankful that after some rough credit history your company gave me a chance at a credit card. I am now a proud gold preferred charge card holder. All of 2013 has been a nightmare dealing with Daniels. It all stems with all the small print on all your advertisements and your supposed "VIP" coupons. When you send me something saying I am a Very Important Person or VIP I take it i'm going to get above average service. There were three particular instances where I felt your customer service severly lacked the essential part where you make your customers feel valued. In December I was going to use my Gold preferred charge card for the first time on at $900 dollar watch that was on sale for $699. I was going to use a $65 off VIP coupon. I was rung up and was about to be given the watch when the manager said we couldn't use it because it was a sale watch. Ok so then ill take my 700 dollars elsewhere then. The second time was around the middle of 2013 when I walked into your "one day sales" that you have about every two months was going to trade in my wife's 1000 dollar ring and get a 3000 dollar ring when those old gentleman claiming to be the owner said no the offer of Daniels giving the full retail value towards the purchase of another piece of jewelry of DOUBLE the price could not be done. Ok so not only was I going to trade up to double the value but TRIPLE the value and he wouldn't take my money. At the beginning of 2013 I wanted to get another watch that was 360 dollars and I still couldnt use a coupon. I have had more than twenty or so of these coupons sent to my home and I cannot on ANY SINGLE OCCASION use ANY of them because your sale price jewelry is excluded. So what your basically saying to all customers is saying spend full retail price and take this stupid 65 dollar coupon and apply to it to our over priced merchandise. I say it overprice because YOU THE MERCHANT will cut all your jewelry prices by more than 100 dollars on the low end to supposedely more than 2 to 3 thousand dollars on the high end. I was so excited that I thought i had finally met a jeweler that cared about customers but alas I was wrong. I made payment on a watch and my wifes engagement ring and never missed a payment or even made a payment late. You appreciated me by sending me your gold charge card and a bunch of coupons and a Good customer rebate. These two dumb coupons don't work for anything other than your full price merchandise that you will eventually put on sale anyway. I will not be using your gold preferred card because you have clearly demonstrated I am NOT a valued customer and you have proven that time and time again by denying me use of your rebate certificates and coupons. I will be posting this on yelp so people are aware that you really do not care about customers because you think it's acceptable to charge 50 dollars for per ring sizing up or down. Thank you for my watch and ring but I will most definitely will not be returning and I will make sure my family stays as far away from you as possible.
