My two most favorite malls in all of San Diego are Fashion Valley and UTC. I love that my favorite restaurant Seasons 52 is close to parking, great convenience. Parking is a bit of a challenge like all great malls but soon UTC will charge for parking which I am all for so it levels the playing (parking) field and allows others to have a chance to park. The layout of the mall is nice, lots of little rest areas and restaurants are spread out as well. My favorite time of the year there is Christmas with the sparkling lights trees and decorations. The shops are beautifully decorated as well.

Very nice and spacious! The newest part is even better!! I love the shops and my kid love the place too. Specially the play going and the family room. The only down side is that it seems that they are going to start charging for parking. This is a big No! We enjoy the place and we go there almost every week and we always end up spending some money here and there or even improvising a dinner out in the amazing restaurants. But paying for parking?..No thanks, then I will choose some other place to spend my money.

This place has really gone upscale. The entire interior is completely different from 5 years ago. It now reminds me of the Irvine Spectrum. I go to Shake Shack most often here, but the Arclight theater is nice and the 24 hr. Fitness looks really upscale. Lots of choices in shopping, but definitely now catering to a more expensive taste.

My wife and I did a staycation at a hotel across the street and spent some time at the mall since our room was not ready. We loved the family friendly atmosphere with a little playground on the property, live music was playing in the common area, and there were several fountains that go with nice landscaping and potted plants all over. We especially enjoyed the white geraniums. I personally liked the ice rink inside the food court. How cool is that?

This mall has change a lot over the years but for good. It's bigger and with more stores. Love their creative art and fun areas for kids to play. I think you can find about anything and everything here. Plus located next to a few awesome restaurants!
