I was looking for a place to have heirloom pearls re-strung. I did not have experience with this kind of request and went to a few jewelers before coming across A Jeweler's Place. She was very helpful explaining how she would approach the re-string and explained two styles to me for my input. She delivered ahead of the scheduled time and with a reasonable price. She was also able to provide me with an unofficial appraisal of these pearls. I was impressed by her professionalism and dedication to the craft. I highly recommend A Jeweler's Place and will definitely return when I have the need. She also sells handmade jewelry at this location.

Great personal service. She takes time for every customer, does not upsell but is willing to offer suggestions.

My go-to place for both jewelry design and repair. As an artist and sometimes jewelry maker, attention to detail is incredibly important to me. Occasionally, when the fancy strikes me and I conjure up a piece of jewelry (generally a ring) I can not make (as I make most of my other jewelry), I come to Carol. I have tried several other places in the city, but when it comes to detail, quality and craftsmanship, Carol surpasses them all! She listens as if you are her most important customer, no job is too big or too small, and she makes sure that you get what you envision. The shop is welcoming, and she does not play games of status and prestige that so many so called 'fancy' jewelers in town play. Yet, the quality of her work and her artistic vision surpasses them all. Totally worth the drive to the Outer Richmond, the Jeweler's Place is incredible!

I've bought new jewelry here and had old jewelry refitted or worked on here. Carol is a true craftswoman. Her work is great and I haven't had any problems with anything she has sold me or fixed.
