I’ve never had problems shopping at this Samuels and I’ve purchased a lot of jewelery from there. However, last time I visited the store one of the sales associates decided it was okay to fight with another sales associate over who would get the sale right in front of me. I honestly felt bad for the gentleman who was trying to sell me a necklace because he was trying to avoid having that conversation in front of me. I was extremely shocked by the sales associates behavior and thought it was very unprofessional.

I have been ring shopping for a few weeks because my wedding ring was stolen. I went to Citadel Mall and thought I would probably just go to Zales again since that is where I last purchased and was completely ignored and was rude when I walked in. I then searched around and found the ring I wanted. I had a gut feeling today I should go check out Chapel Hills mall, never hearing of Samuels Jewelers and I went in and found the PERFECT ring for the perfect price. The lady Drew and the geyntleman Paul were working and they were so patient and made me feel great about being so indecisive about the ring (I have a hard time spending money). They explained their lifetime warranty which is even better than the other jewelry stores! I am so happy I found them and I am so happy I found the ring!

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my ring. That's where the two stars come from. The actual process of buying the ring was great. They were so excited and so kind. About a month after I got the ring I lost a stone. Each time I've carted it back for inspections and to send it out to get it plated in rhodium, none of the women in the store have been very kind or helpful. It takes weeks to get it back, and every single time they have said they would call as soon as it's back and each time I have had to call and it's been sitting there. I don't think anyone likes to be without their ring, and it's rude to let it sit in a drawer. Margo, the manager, is the least friendly of all of them. And now I'm reading you have to have a sheet to sign off on inspections in case I lose yet another stone? I know nothing about that!

My fiance bought my engagement ring from this Samuel's Jewelers. Of course, we have a warranty that is supposed to cover everything, including the center diamond for the lifetime of the ring. My ring chipped 4 months after buying it. Yes, contrary to popular belief, diamonds sometimes break. It is painfully obvious that it is chipped on the side of the diamond in a star-shape crack and there is a very visible line across the entire center of the diamond. I, obviously, did not receive it this way. We went in and Dak and some lady assured us it would be replaced, it just needed to be sent out. I had a horrible feeling in my gut and it turns out I was on to something. They shamelessly called me back and are claiming the crack is a natural imperfection that was in the stone when we bought it and will not honor their warranty. I'm disgusted. DO NOT BUY JEWELRY FROM SAMUELS JEWELERS. I could go on..like the shady practice they have of including in their warranty details that you must get your ring inspected every 6 months for the rest of your life or the warranty is void. This may be somewhat common, but they do not tell you up front nor provide you this stupid paper you are supposed to keep to certify you're having it inspected. They hope if they can keep you out of their hair for 6 months, they'll never have to deal with you again. Service may seem great when you're there buying a ring, but that's not really the part that matters.
