I can't say enough wonderful things about Steven and Shannon. Searching for an engagement ring can be an anxiety producing and complicated process. Not at Clayton Jewelers. I walked in and felt immediately at ease in the intimate but elegant setting. Steven took time to educate me on diamonds, the 4C's of cut, color, clarity, and carat - showing me stones and allowing me to directly compare between types. He made me feel comfortable in my chosen price range and helped to maximize the quality of the stone and setting. I returned several times to pick the correct stone (an oval cut ) and setting. Steven offered to design a unique setting for the stone and had some 3D models created. We decided on a more standard look, but his ability to create a special setting was much appreciated. At the time of purchase I felt so happy, excited, and supported that all the stress of the upcoming proposal melted away. My fiancee loved the ring! She said yes! We actually returned recently to resize the ring and they had were able to fit it to her in only 1 hour!! I was amazed at their customer service and speed of resizing the ring. I plan to recommend them to all of my (hopefully) soon to be engaged friends.

Steven and his wife, Shannon are consummate professionals. I cannot emphasize how enjoyable this experience was. This was a big purchase and completely stress free thanks to them both. He is not a salesman. He is not pushy. Both of those qualities put us at ease and made our decision so much easier. My wife was doing the shopping, and she can be quite fickle. I was amazed at how patient he was with us. He works with you and wants to know what you are thinking so he can get the best piece for you. He has a beautiful selection, and if he doesn’t have something immediately available, will work with you to get what’s best for you. My wife and I went in 4 or 5 times before deciding on a stone. I must have called twice as many times and asked him to get X or Y type of diamond. I shopped around at other jewelers, but none of them offer the service, time, or patience that Steven and Shannon did. We still haven’t decided on the setting, but if you have a design or idea in mind, he will work with you. They’ve got a customer for life in me, and I hope they’re around for a very long time. When we get the ring in the setting, I’ll post it here to show the amazing work they do. They’re the best in town.

Working with Shannon was so easy and delightful! I wanted a custom engraved gold necklace to honor a loved one who passed away and Shannon and Stephen wonderfully delivered!! It is gorgeous, was priced totally reasonably, and I can tell it will last forever. Shannon responded to all emails super promptly and was so friendly and warm. I have put their business card on my fridge as a hint to my husband for any future custom jewelry needs ;)

A few years ago, a diamond fell out of my wedding band. I stopped wearing it because I realized the other diamonds were loose, and I was at risk for losing more of them. I had someone look at it, and they told me it would cost at least $150 to get it fixed. So, I put it off. For years! Until two weeks ago, leading up to our 5 year anniversary and re-dedication of vows (which was so special!). I wanted our wedding band fixed. After scanning lots of reviews, it seemed like Clayton Jewelers was the place to go for repairs. I received very kind customer service and high quality work! They cleaned my rings and my husband's, and were able to replace the diamond and repair my wedding band for less than $50. It looks brand new! I'm so grateful! Highly recommend these kind people. One word of caution - be ready to be verbally assaulted by the woman who manages the parking garage. She is not related to Clayton Jewelers but was very rude to me. It was baffling and totally startled me. When I told Clayton Jewelers my experience just trying to park the car, they apologized and said that I was the third person who had complained that week. So be warned!

It's simple - when it comes to Shannon and Steven, you won't find better, more caring, and TALENTED jewelers in all of Missouri. They have a unique ability to combine their talents in a way that is unmatched. As a birthday present for my boyfriend (Conor) I took a very old family rosary to Shannon and asked her what could be done to it to make it new and customized specifically for Conor. Her and Steven worked together to provide a few different options all while still respecting and keeping the integrity of the original piece, something that was very important to me. I knew the entire time that I could trust Shannon and Steven to take care of something so special. When I picked the rosary up I couldn't believe what a beautiful transformation they were able to accomplish. All the small intricate details of the rosary were highlighted with such grace and care and they were even able to add a unique engraving that looks like it belonged there all along. This gift was packed with a lot of emotion and I know it would not have made even a fraction of the impact that it did had I not been lucky enough to have Shannon and Steven involved. Bigger businesses aren't always run with the integrity and gratitude towards customers that Shannon and Steven lead Clayton Jewelers with and I'm proud to say I will be their customer for LIFE. If you're considering custom work or looking for a jeweler to work with you can stop looking now, Clayton Jewelers is the answer. We've been back to them for numerous pieces since, including my beloved engagement ring that is second to NONE! Thank you thank you thank you!
