I had such an amazing experience with Erstwhile. I wanted to be involved with the selection of my ring and had been eyeing Erstwhile online for years before I was even ready to get engaged, so I was thrilled to make an appointment at the showroom. They do offer limited weekend appointments, but I was able to schedule something on a Saturday without any issue. Nikki was SO helpful and kind, and super responsive on email. I decided on my ring during our appointment, and my fiance purchased it shortly after. He had a wonderful experience working with Nikki, and I truly cannot get over my ring. It is exceptional, unique, and exactly what i was looking for.

I am one of those lucky women who got to pick their own engagement ring and I am so glad that we chose to work with Erstwhile! We had the most wonderful experience from start to finish and I am now the proud owner of the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen! I was specifically looking for an old European cut, three-stone diamond ring and all roads kept leading me to Erstwhile. Their articles on antique stones and engagement rings were extremely helpful and even more inspiring! I truly believe that they are the best in the business, especially if you are looking for something unique with old world charm. My ring was appraised at a higher value than what we paid for so I know for a fact that their prices are more than fair as well. Their selection of vintage engagement rings is out of this world!! And their collection of new production pieces are very well curated and manage to merge modern design aesthetics with the beauty and soul of vintage designs. Every piece I tried on had that "little special something" that none of the other rings I had previously tried on in other stores had. It was extremely hard to pick just one :) After a lot of back and forth (Thank you for your patience Nikki!!) I decided to go with their understated and timeless Rule of Three design. Nikki found me the most stunning old European cut diamonds while still respecting our budget, she answered every one of my questions (I had sooo many!) almost immediately with great detail and she was personable and caring every step of the way. My ring arrived a week earlier than promised and it came thoughtfully packaged with a handwritten note from Nikki. I could not be happier! Every interaction I had with this company was first class all the way! I know that not everyone might have the luxury of visiting their NYC showroom to try the rings on in person, but this company's transparency, professionalism and taste level is truly unmatched, so I would not hesitate to order from their website. Bought an engagement ring from here back in late 2017 and just recalled now (while renewing the insurance policy on it) that I never left a review. We had a great experience with Erstwhile, got a lovely ring that we spent months searching for and could not be happier with how things turned out. I purchased an item of jewelry from Erstwhile website three weeks ago and they were absolutely stellar from beginning (from the first point of online enquiry) to end (post delivery follow-up). They were patient with my questions and were very accommodating with my requests relating to delivery.
