BUYER BEWARE!!! Let me start by stating, I have never posted a review prior to today but I felt my experience with Lawrence and King's painting warranted one to prevent others from going through my experience. I hired Lawrence to mud/tape and paint our basement back in September including doors/baseboards and cabinets. Now, 4 months later this work is still not completed and Lawrence is no where to be found. Lawrence prefers to be out quoting new business rather than managing his existing clients and his team. This lead to a sub par taping and mudding job that has resulted in me having to hire an external taper to fix what Lawrence and his team were not able to deliver on, using two separate tapers. Note that he promised level 5 in the contract and in many instance you could still see the tape meaning at most 1-2 coats were applied, thick ones at that. At the end of the day Lawrence blames this on his taper. As a business owner he is responsible and the fact is he was not present and was not able to address these issues. For anyone considering doing business with King's painting I would highly recommend not paying until the job is complete. Secondly if you are interested I will be glad to share my experience if you are really considering them for work. Examples of what Lawrence outlined int the contract and did not deliver on - Level 5 mud and tape (most places had two coats if that) - Cleaning - Lawrence has now chosen to walk away from this job so I am left with cleaning up the mess he left behind - Completing work in the entire basement. I still have a room that has one coat of mud and that is it. Left unfinished and I will have to complete later. - Spray paint doors casing etc. Lawrence actually does not spray paint. If he tells you he does it is a lie. - Spray paint cabinetry - this is in our contract but at this point as Lawrence has walked off the job this is another example of something that I will have to hire someone else to do. So long story short, I am out 1500 Dollars above an beyond what Lawrence quoted. I still have to pay for a cleaner and someone to come and finish one room and spray painting my cabinetry. Lawrence did not even let us know he was not coming back with but rather conveyed via an associate that he would not be coming back.

Amazing work guys with the drywall, mud and tape. Also great painting. Would highly recommend kings painting. Fairly good prices too. Very happy and satisfied. Thank you kings painting

Kings painting did our basement drywalling and painting and did a great job! Lawrence was great to deal with and the crew was very polite and considerate. Definitely would recommend these guys!
