House Doctor Painting provided a very competitive quote. On the day they painted they arrived early and prepared the house for painting by power cleaning and prepping the area including the shrubbery. Once the job was started the continued to work until it was done. We had a new house before the end of the day. The owner check back after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied. He even had his crew return to take care of a minor problem we discovered a week later. Fantastic. You must use House Doctor for all your painting needs!

They were exceptionally sloppy, careless, and just generally downright lazy. The owner was completely unwilling to come out to the house to correct his crew even after repeated calls when they kept ignoring our requests to actually do their jobs correctly. The crew had to be asked time and again to do simple things like put down dropcloths over 100 year old hardwood floors, tape over white trim before painting with dark colors, or remove fixture plates before painting a room. The last one is one of my favorites; they removed the plates in the bathrooms after we pointed it out but after they were "done" they put the plates back on, but then didn't remove them again when we pointed out we could still see the original wall color and they had to put on a second coat. The end result is wall plates effectively glued down with paint which I am just finding now years later. Drip irrigation in the way? They will just pull it down or cut the lines to get it out. Also need to have the porch floor painted? No worries, that same house paint will last at least a few months before it starts to come off under moderate wear. Painting an exterior door? Of course the best way to do it is to close it immediately after painting so the first time its opened it will pull up a neat rectangle of paint all around the door sill. I am still finding things wrong with their work years later. These guys are absolutely horrid painters. They are the kind of bad that makes you call another company to come fix their mistakes because you are sick of dealing with their incompetence.

DO NOT use this company. We painted our house in 2007 inside and out after a remodel and we had tons of problems then - uneven painting overall (had to have them repaint 3 times), messy edging (still have paint on the h/w floor), terrible attitude (had to argue repeatedly to get them to repaint), just a total nightmare. The owner only showed up after we threatened to sue. 3 years later, we are seeing discoloration on our front exterior walls. Our house wall paint color is green but they used a orangish primer and so that color is bleeding through. Unbelievable!!!! I cannot believe they are still in business....do not, do not use them.
