They painted rooms in my house. They were the nicest contractors I've ever had in my house. They did an awesome job and were very punctual. I also have recommended them to many people. They have done work for a few of them. And they have all come back to me thanking me for recommending them. If you want the best painters in town get these guys.

Been working with Merek for over a year now and he's always been professional and easy to get along with. More important is the quality of workmanship, he is a dot the "I" and cross the "t" type of person every time.

My experience with Merek was pleasant in the beginning; but turned for the worst; when he showed up with my MDF millwork hanging out the back of his trailer in the pouring rain. He brought the product into the garage and told me and my husband to grab a rag and star wiping the water off. He was not apologetic for this AT ALL. We then began having a debate about cutting the wood in my garage but we had had three conversations about doing the cutting on our covered porch; which we had cleared for him to use. Since the MDF was too wet; the project could not go forward. We had to bring the 16 ft long MDF into our home and dry it with a fan so that it would not warp and blister. He said he would call us later that day and NEVER called us back. We had furniture everywhere, boxes packed up to clear the space for him to work. When we did not hear back after over a week and many unanswered texts, we had to find another way to get the work completed. 3 weeks later, he texts me tonight saying I wrote him a "bogus" cheque. I called my bank and there was NO record of this cheque going through the system. When I called and challenged him, he said he still had the cheque and that he tried to deposit it by taking a picture. He told me that I need to get into the 21st century. He was rude, condescending and was yelling at me on the phone. He said he did me a favour by delivering my wood to me and that I would have been charged $90. He did not take into account that we have to bring all that wood into our home, and set it up on spacers, get out a fan and having it drying in the middle of our 1900 sq/ft house. Please do not do me any favours; except bring back my measuring tape you took and refund me for supplies you kept. I would never recommend working with him as he is very hot headed when you have a concern or questions. RESPONSE: Merik I am happy to show you my bank statement to prove that the account is valid. I have had the same bank account since college. I wrote a cheque to a landscaper for $7000 earlier this year with no issues. You asked me to get you cash and it is still sitting at the door 2 months later. Please do not make me look like the bad guy here; take responsibility for your actions and how you handled our account.

I've worked with Merek on several small projects and spoken with many of Mereks' clients while checking out Seaside Painting and Home Improvements to determine if I wanted to hire him for my home improvement and painting projects. Based on the feedback I received, I hired Merek, and he and his staff were timely, polite, organized and upbeat. I'm completely satisfied with the services that I received from Seaside Painting and Home Improvements. So much so that I hired him for additional junk removal services to help me get rid of years of accumulated ... well.. junk... I wouldn't hesitate to hire, or recommend Merek & Seaside Painting.
