Mr. Larry Cook of "Cook's Plastering" came to my house on 8-16-2017 to give me an estimate on a basement wall repair. He wrote a detailed proposal and gave me a tentative and a hard start date. He required a down payment of $250.00. I gave him a check for the $250.0 and he presented that check to my bank the very next day. The first tentative date 8-23-2017 passed with no word. Now comes the hard date 8-24-2017... no word. I called, left message. Received text message of a delay for one reason or another. The delays continued. I suggested he return my deposit of $250.0. More delays. I called channel seven's "Call for Action" on Sept. 1, 2017. Mr. Cook told channel 7 he would drop a check for my deposit ($250) in the mail. No check. On 9-11-2017 channel 7 did a follow-up with Mr. Cook. I have no details of the follow-up. Bottom line... THIS MAN (LARRY COOK) HAS NO INTENTIONS OF RETURING MY DEPOSIT). My options now, small claims court and a report to BBB. This guy is a clever con artist and I'm sure he's burning people as I write this. STAY AWAY.. THIS GUY (LARRY COOK) IS BAD NEWS.!!

Bad News Indeed! Took my deposit, came for 2 days, did lousy work, and never came back to finish. Never ever returned my calls, even after calling him 10 straight days!

Larry did a great job, works fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend. His prices are very reasonable!
