* Update 4/23/18: be sure to keep all communication records. Some of the reviews might have bias because some gift was offered to reviewers. I never receive any gift that's promised. Also this year I started receiving home improvement ads and mails from many different local businesses. I am not sure if it's related but the Somerset painting was the only company I hired in the past year. ----------------------------------- Original: Overall a satisfactory experience. Brad did a quick estimate and answered all my questions. He was able to send the wood crew out earlier. On the painting side, so far it looks good. Tim and Ed did a great job. They worked very carefully and drew attention from my neighbors, who really liked their work. During the billing and payment process, there seems to be some lack of communications between office staff which caused confusion to me. But it all sorted out quickly once I told them the issues. No worries as long as you keep all the emails/messages records.

If you are looking for a painting contractor, look no further, your search has ended. This fall I had the exterior of my home painted by Somerset painting company, from start to finish, they were top notch. The owner Rick came out originally for an estimate which I found to be very reasonable. The price was very fair, the crew was courteous and the crew leader Chris completed his work in a day and a half, and that was with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint. I also have to give a shout out to the project manager "Rachel" .....she bent over backwards to work with our busy schedule....very professional and a pleasure to work with. I have worked with numerous companies and contractors of every trade over the years. I have not found a company any better managed or so professionally run like I found with Somerset painting..... If I could I would give them 6 stars.

Somerset did a great job painting my home's interior last year, so when one of my gutters recently detached I contacted them to see if they could help. Sure enough, Rick arraigned to have it fixed promptly and at a good price. They really know how to take care of their customers! Ron

Somerset painting did a great job on my home. I began this project by scheduling several quotes and walking through the project with each contractor. My time with Rick from Somerset was the most comfortable, thorough and informative. In addition, Somerset's quote was by far the best I received. The communication with Somerset, especially Courtney, throughout the scheduling, planning and execution was fast and effective. As for the most important aspect, the quality and look of the finished product is incredible. The crew led by Cris Taylor prepared thoroughly by ensuring that they understood exactly what we wanted by walking around the house with us and listening to our wants and hopes. Cris was able to provide advice on several areas we had trouble deciding and it worked out better than we had envisioned. Cris and his crew achieved the 2 goals we asked of them: focus on quality and make us happy. Overall the process of having our home painted by Somerset was clear and comfortable, and the quality and workmanship executed by Cris' crew is excellent. I will highly recommend Somerset to friends and family.

We've used Somerset Painting for several jobs on our house. We've been pleased with the quality of their work, as well as how quickly they're able to complete the work and completing it on time. Rachel is always very quick to ensure that we're satisfied with the work. We will continue to use Somerset in the future.
