John and Chris did an excellent job with the painting and plaster touch ups that were necessary in our home. They painted the living room and dining room which has vaulted ceilings, the family room which required quite allot of patch work and detailed trim work, two large hallways (that required faux painting to be sanded off) and a bathroom (which required the drywall to be fixed). They did an incredible job, their attention to detail and professionalism showed in their work. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have their home painted. The rooms look incredible. Their prices are very reasonable given the quality of their work.

Worst customer service, terrible attitude !!! Wrecked my kitchen cabinets. Claimed that he has state of the art facility and equipment when actually he sprayed my kitchen in his backyard using cheap latex paint from Benjamin Moore. He should have known that it's for "walls" not "wood" !!! Well John I understand you are a home painter, but you should have told me upfront. When confronted, blamed my kitchen cabinets ????? John Pizzi, you didn't see my cabinets before starting the work ???? I won't be surprised if you don't "RECOLLECT" who I am !!! My bad I hired 'Jack of all trades .....'

I contacted John for a last minute stair refinishing job at my new house prior to moving in. John displayed a level of professionalism, organization, cleanliness and pride in his work that you don't always see with painters. He immediately made me feel comfortable choosing him to do the work on my stairs. John was able to fit me in his schedule almost immediately understanding the urgency of my job. John used high quality paints, stains and varethane and his attention to detail and finished work was second to none. I would definitely hire John again for any future refinishing/ painting I may need and will continue to recommend his services to family and friends.

It’s always been a pleasure working with John Pizzi throughout the years. He shows up on time, prepared with a great attitude. He keeps his work area tidy and is respectful of others trades working in our houses. We will continue using and recommending him for future paint projects. - Shawna Fraraccio Lead Designer for KARISMA Build Group Inc.

We are very happy with our kitchen renovation and brick fireplace painting. Replacing the doors and refinishing the cupboards with painting have made it look brand new! John is very detail-oriented, reliable and neat. We had very little dust and clean up and it was all done within a few weeks. We have recommended Modern Paint and Design to our friends and family. John is trustworthy and we really appreciated all of his hard work! Thanks again! Christine & Mike Bayne
