Dan Conklin and his crew are rank amateurs. In terms of paint quality, I'd give them a C-. In terms of business professionalism, I'd give an F. Dan Conklin was late to every appointment we scheduled, and he told me he'd start working on a certain day 4 separate times, and then didn't start on that day. Never once did he apologize, or even seem to understand that he'd done something wrong. It was always just "oh, yea, I'll start Wednesday instead." He missed the deadline he gave me by several days, and he actually asked my wife and I do do quality assurance. He expected us to walk around and find areas that were messed up and tell him. Like we're his employees. I could overlook all of this if the quality of the work was good, but it wasn't. At all. He got paint on our brand new $10,000 floors, and got paint on all the hardware (doorknobs, etc). He also missed several spots. When we told him about paint on the floor his response was "you can probably scrape that off". Yea, we probably can scrape it off, but I didn't pay a "professional" painter so that I had to spend hours fixing their shoddy work. I don't know who to recommend instead, but I would definitely stay away from this shady operation. The attached pictures show some of the many problems with his painting.

Just had our exterior painted by Dan's crew. They did an awesome job. They were experienced, professional, detail oriented, clean and pleasant. We're very pleased, and it was $1000 less than another, larger company. Can't go wrong with Dan!
