John recently painted the our living room, dining room, hallway and bathroom (including ceiling and trim). As part of the week-long process, he repaired countless cracks and parts of our walls that were in general disrepair. Good workmanship. Competitive prices. Very prompt and kept to a regular and predictable work-schedule. One of the major "value-added" services you get with John is his patience to explain how to go about choosing colors, including thinking through how colors might work in our house given our current furnishings and lighting, all the while letting me figure out my own preferences. This was a key service as we have never chosen colors for walls before and it would have been very overwhelming without this tutorial. He also made suggestions about types of paints that would work best considering that we have young children who are always touching the walls. We're very happy with John's work on our home. His experience really shows.

Our mid century home has never looked so good inside and out! If you are the kind of customer looking for a highly skilled detail oriented painter, John Washburn is your man. It's no secret mid century homes are sleek with minimal amount of details distracting the eye. John's high craft level made all those surface imperfections present after 50+ years disappear. It's as if we got all new rooms in our house. On top of this, John’s professionalism made the entire experience a pleasure.
