To find great paint and great customer service go to a Sherwin-Williams store! I regularly visit the store on Arden Way where the manager Carol and her staff provide excellent service and the paint quality is the best! JJ the sheriff!

Helpful and friendly.... some other paint stores make you feel out of place if you are not a contractor, I didn’t get that feeling here.

I went to the Rancho Cordova store to ask why SW paints were so much more expensive than Behr. I told the young man that I wanted to paint my kitchen cabinets. I had a color card. I was told that he had that color in stock and sold me 2 gallons. He did not sell me paint with primer in one step, nor did he ask if I needed primer. My concern was coverage, so I thought he should have brought it up. When I called to ask if the paint had primer in it, I was told no that it didn't, but really there is no difference in coverage between the two. Then he told me that I would only need a quart of primer to cover cabinets that need 2 gallons to paint! The salesperson not only was not helpful, but cost me money and then lied to me to cover his bad service. He told me to come in to exchange the paint, then when I got there, he said he couldn't because there was tint in it.....He had previously looked it up on his computer, didn't he already know that? I will not shop for paint here again unless they hire knowledgeable sales people.
