I always try to support local business and small ma and pa shops. However, if you don't have respect for your repeat customers then I will no longer rave about your abilities. The owner repainted my bumper 2 years ago (my car was brand new) and I had scratched it. The owner was friendly and eager to help me at the time. Shortly after I noticed it starting to yellow a bit (my car is white) so I took it into him. He came out "guns a' blazzin, immediately went on the defense and started raising his voice. I did bring it up that I felt he was being a bit abrasive and all I was trying to do was figure out if there was a way to fix my car. He basically told me that he didn't guarantee any type of patch repaint at all and threw his hands up in the air. He was very rude and when I asked him to lower his voice (my 2 year old son was in the car with his window down) he yelled "this is how I always talk." I stated "when I came to you for your services sir, you absolutely didn't speak to me this way." Overall, if you're a company who doesn't stand by your work, I feel you can't be trusted. Customer service skills are lacking and had he calmly told me there's nothing he could do to help, I would have moved on (no complaint needed). But I feel people should know, that not only is this mans work subpar, but he doesn't stand by his work or garuntee it, and his inability to communicate in a respectful manner is less than pleasing. I will be sending my future business to Davis auto body- where the work is guaranteed and the staff enjoys their job and is more than willing to assist with any concerns.

Best work I have ever had done on my car. Gave options and pricing and time frame for me to choose from. Excellent work.

Very Rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend this shop!

In contrast to the consumer ripoff and auto insurance defrauding sleaziness observed at the nearby Davis AutoBody North location, Bump and Grind is a totally honest shop that features excellent workmanship. In contrast to the refreshing courtesy displayed by Jeff Walz, the manager of Davis AutoBody North, Erik Salmon, is a slippery Workplace Bully who gets a power charge out of discourteously abusing his customers, his employees and throwing his weight around.
