I am a local business and I have started using them for my powdercoating needs. I was impressed at their quick turn-around when I was in a rush, they worked with me and got my parts done in 1.5 days. I was very impressed with their work. Tomorrow they are picking up a truck load of work from me, I am excited to give them my business and keep my money in good ol USA. The owner is also a very cool person, easy to talk to, easy to work with. No complaints from me!

I had some work done at Nor Cal Powder Coating last year. They painted some aluminum steps for a custom ladder we were building for a customer. The steps looked great when they finished, and their price was reasonable. They completed them when they said they would, and our customer was very satisfied with the results. I will be using them again soon! Jerry Hook Stokes Ladders, Inc.

I took 4 completely stripped brake calipers to Nor-Cal Powder Coatings and picked out a color ( golden valentine w/ gold top coat) I wanted them powder coated in. I was given a quote of $150 for the sand blasting, primer and powder coating. I was called on a week later saying that they were done. When I showed up they were the wrong color, not what was on my quote. I was told they would redo them in the correct color. I was called again saying that they were once again done. The calipers were the wrong color for the second time. I was then told they did not have the color I ordered and they were trying to get close. I was furious. I wanted what I ordered. I didn't see why that was so hard. They were surprised I didn't like the color because he said it was really similar to the other color and he had a lot of compliments on it. But the fact still remained that's not the color I wanted or ordered. So I was told again that it would be taken care of. I got another call on saying that they were done. This time they were in the color I ordered but they had not sandblasted the other two colors off so the coating is not as good as it should be, I was disappointed but at this point I just wanted to get my car finished. They then brought me the bill which was for more than 50% more than my quote. He wanted me to pay $230.28 not the $150 we had agreed on from the beginning. I was never told the price went up or I would have canceled the order. Steve said the additional was for the Golden Valentine Color but that is the color on my original quote. I was again furious, I filled out a form and went to the BBB but they did nothing. Nearly a year later I went down and paid for them I needed to finish my car at this point. When I received my parts they were so poorly masked off that I spent 6hrs fixing them. I will never do business with them ever again.
