We had the exterior of our home painted in Oct '17. I think the guys did a pretty good job and they fixed any touch ups I pointed out. I also had some exterior fascia board and trim replaced which they also did well. We had one side of the house that we had requested to be repainted as it looked as though it could use a second coat. It took a little negotiated and them investigating to get them to repaint the one side, but they did. It didn't need a second coat because the first wasn't good, it was mostly because I am OCD and I saw texture differences. Looks great now though! I would recommend because these guys have demonstrated they do care about their reputation and will do what it takes to ensure you're happy. Even if it means coming back out to fix something months later.

I hired Jp painting and I was surprised with all this reviews because they treated me with respect, the price was decent and the service incredible. They told me the job was going to take 5 days and they finished in 4 days. Thank you !

I sent them thjis letter and go no response: JP Painting and Remodeling I am writing in response your survey regarding my recent deck installation. I would like to be able to say that I am completely satisfied, but I am not. The deck itself looks great and I am thrilled with how well it came out. The addition on top of the deck, a modified pergola with a metal roof, is not well built. I have enclosed a few pictures. There are spaces between several boards that should be flush; one of the 4x4 posts has a pretty significant crack in it that seems to go through to both sides and what looks like a plugged hole; the roof, which is actually aluminum, not tin, when tin was specifically requested, is dented from one of the workers climing on top of it, it also has many extra holes where the screws missed the boards below causing it to leak; the roof roof rattles when you walk across the deck; there are many areas where nails missed their target and were left sticking out next to boards. I feel that the workers were trying to finish before the rain and were possibly frustrated that I had some issues with a few things and had them redo parts of the construction and they were rushing to get finished and did a shoddy job. They said they did not know that the pergola was supposed to support a swing. They did not see the pictures of my plan until the day of construction; even so, the pictures included a large swing. I had to have Chris talk to Eddie several times to get it right. The more I look at it the more I wish I had built that part myself. My grandfather and my father were both carpenters so I know a thing or two about building with wood. There is no way either of them would have built something so poorly. Like I said, I wish I could tell you that I am completely satisfied... I also wish I hadn't spent so much money on something I'm not totally happy with.

My husband and I just had our cabinets repainted. The guys 'finished' last night after 3 days of work. The quality is poor--there are drips, brush strokes, and globs in the paint in various locations on the cabinets. Some of the cabinet doors were sprayed and others were rolled which has resulted in different looking finishes in cabinet doors that are RIGHT next to one another. ALSO, they attached the cabinet doors BEFORE they were completely dry and the result is finger prints (in the paint!) all over the doors. We are very disappointed with the quality of the work and have asked the project manager to have them come back next week to fix the mistakes. Luckily I have not paid them for the work yet and WON'T until it's perfect. Oh, we also added a few cabinet doors for a built in project to their list of items to do for us. They charged us $50/door to spray them white front and back--the fronts look acceptable, but the backs have one coat of primer on them and they called them 'done'. Further, they were delayed due to weather one day and left our kitchen in complete disarray while they were gone--we ended up moving all of the plastic from the countertops so we could eat for 2 days while we waited for them to return. Every other painter I've seen, cleans up the area at the end of every day so the family can live as normally as possible. I WILL NOT hire this company again.

They will not honor their guarantee. They have missed three appointments and have not called me back to look at the walls in my bathroom. There is something wrong with the paint in the master bath. It looks like it has not been painted in years and J P Painting painted it on 11/7. I will never use them again.
