Good prices and selection - employees weren't helpful or welcoming right away, but eventually we were helped and got the paint/supplies we needed

I have visited this store about 5 times in the last few weeks, and every single employee is top notch. The manager is helpful, and pays close attention to what you are asking for. Zac has spent so much time helping us choose the right color for our kitchen, and giving excellent tips. This is a great store, and run efficiently. Worlds apart from Harrison Paint, where I did not receive such friendly service.

We've had a bad couple weeks. Most all of our famlies have been affected by the 2016 Flood of South Louisiana. My husband and I couldn't get into our home for 3 days and after we did its been nothing but gut our famlies homes, watch our community dump lifetimes of work onto the street, feed people, wash clothes for neighbors and do any other thing we can. Today, I finally went in to buy paint for my front door. The window was broken during the flooding and I needed to paint before I could repair. I don't know why but the paint I was using just wasn't working. Probably due to a combo of my stress levels, being mildly sick and taking care of kids for friends who had no where to send them due to the floods. I called Sherwin Williams while essentially having a breakdown. It was small but it was the final thing I just couldn't take. They were so kind. An hour later the store manager, Taylor Broussard showed up at my front door with everything I needed. Just to help me. Because he too has been affected by this flood and knows the stress levels we are all under. I can't thank him enough. It meant so much to me that he would go so far out of his way to help with something as small as my door when there is so much going on. Thank you Sherwin Williams. Thank you for hiring amazing people like Taylor and being the kind of company who will allow their employees to reach out in such a personal way.
