As a designer and real estate agent it is my job to get things done right the first time for clients. Working with Aaron at Red's makes this very easy! He responds quickly to provide quotes, shows up on time, has a friendly crew, and takes great care in the prep and clean up. The finished product is always beautiful and my clients have been not just satisfied, but really happy! Save yourself a headache and start with Aaron at Red's Painting and Decorating. WORST BUSINESS EXPERIENCE - one of his two reviews is from himself, and the other review must have been a friend, because I can't imagine the guy I've worked with would have been reviewed that way. I've been wanting to give him a chance to fix my problems, but Aaron Jacobs has exhausted my patience, and I have to post. I've been trying to meet with him to make things right for two months. Most importantly, he breached contract. I paid him nearly $5000 for a bid that included priming, and within a few months I have MAJOR peeling, bleed through, and problems that make it clear he didn't prime. It's not like I can just paint over to fix that problem. It's basically a throw away of $5000. He also: - had a cop show up and give him a breathalyzer at my house - had a crew that was speaking racistly about Latino people in front of my Puerto Rican son - did a bunch of sanding and prep in my house BEFORE testing for lead, which we all breathed in, and only found out after the fact - started pressuring us for payments before they were due - ordered my nanny around, like she worked for him - showed up late and stayed late into the evening, making things super - Was extremely prompt to get the work, but unbelieveably unavailable when I tried to meet with him to fix problems. I'm pretty confident he has been lying to me. Overall, I would have loved not to have posted this - a single dad trying to get started with a business, but he took $5000 of my money and did CRAPPY work that he won't fix, so yeah, I'm posting it.
