I've been getting my paints, stains, painting preparation materials, etc. from this specific SW store for several years. As a home improvement contractor having a store with a reliable and knowledgeable staff is really critical to my business because they are on top of all my orders quickly and professionally, and when I have a question about a product or even a practice or technique the staff has the knowledge and know-how to answer those questions thoroughly and accurately. The entire staff is great, but specifically John is excellent. It's not just that he is friendly polite and professional it's that he really knows his products, his people and his profession. For example, he will go out of his way to find an answer to your question if he doesn't already know it off the top of his head, and in the rare case when they don't have a particular product in stock he won't just tell you to call another store he will call the store himself and make sure you are taken care of, which means putting in your order at the other SW. Store himself, for you. I'm sure if it was allowed, he would even go and pick it up for you. You can just tell that he really takes his job seriously and customer service is not just a policy but it's part of his philosophy as one of the store managers and part of his work ethic as a professional. And all of these professional traits and attitude and the way he treats his customers is genuine, not forced. You can tell he really cares about serving his customers and he is serious about his knowledge of the job. It all just makes the store better, it rubs off on the other employees who are also great, and it makes my Sherwin Williams probably the best one in the county. Having a store with a staff like this is crucially helpful to my business operation.
