***PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING THIS COMPANY I’ve been waiting to write this review for several months because I wanted to complete my full home renovation to ensure I was aware of all the issues that may come up after hiring a new contractor to repair and redo the sloppy and unprofessional work that Pablo Coronel and his guys from PC Painting and Remodel located at 28 Woodside Ave. In Elmsford, NY. completed in my house. I hired this company to complete a full home renovation in May and was informed by the owner Pablo Coronel that he and his workers (minimum of 3 guys) would be at my home full time and would need approximately 2 months to complete all of the work. We contracted him to finish my basement, demolish and renovate both of my full bathrooms and kitchen, etc. (Full home renovation). After beginning the project Pablo and I ran into multiple issues communicating with one another. I figured perhaps because spanish was his first language there may be a language barrier preventing the communication from going smoothly- I then brought my mother into the situation to act as a translator for him and I since she is fluent in his native language. Unfortunately the communication problems persisted. After a few weeks it came to my attention that he has been very dishonest and was not licensed in electricity- without my knowledge he had contracted the electrical work out to another “licensed electrician.” I put licensed electrician in quotes because to this day I have yet to be given or shown a copy of this person’s license verifying he is able to complete electrical work, although I have directly asked Pablo for this information several times. After being dissatisfied with how long the job was taking and the poor quality of work that was being done I became upset with the situation and communicated my challenges and issues. He proceeded to become argumentative and quit the job, not even midway through the project. After about an hour- I never reached out to him at all- he sends me various texts and says he is willing to come back. At this point we had no functioning master bathroom and no functioning kitchen as well so I felt my hands were tied. After insisting on being reimbursed immediately on a specific day so he can purchase a fire door for my basement (this door was not going to be installed anytime soon) I refused to do so and asked him to finish the current work he was doing before moving on to the new project. I advised him that he would be given a check the next day because I wanted him to focus on he work that needed to be done instead of shopping. He became upset, collected all of his tools and quit the job for the 2nd time. At this point I had had enough. I reached out to multiple other contractors and hired a new company to finish the work. At this time I came to find out that there were multiple other issues with the work that Pablo and his company did- the biggest issues are listed below. The entire experience was awful and extremely stressful and unfortunately I’m still dealing with the results of his poor work. If I had access to list more info I would be but there is limitations in reviews. 1. Several supporting beams in my house were cut without my knowledge or approval. 2. When my new kitchen floor was laid it was not level and the tiles were not installed correctly causing tiles to break and pop up. 3. A new toilet was not installed correctly resulting in a leak that caused damage 4. My new kitchen cabinets were installed with a nail gun and were not flush or level 5. An exposed electrical box was left next to my garbage disposal with an active leak- huge safety issue 6. Dryer vent was not installed correctly resulting in gas leaking into the basement- huge safety issue

I had my house painted by PC painting and I'm really happy with their work. I highly recommend them. They gave me a good price and a great service. Thanks a lot!
