A colleague referred Matthew Coniglio and A & L Painting to me for some interior work on my home. The project involved painting my kitchen, living room, and two-story foyer. His estimate was definitely competitive with others that I received and I appreciated the fact that his business is fully insured. Matt got my project on the books in a timely manner and offered suggestions and recommendations in terms of color selection and design ideas. The crew arrived promptly each day and were personable and professional throughout the project. During the course of the project, Matt consulted with me in terms of decisions and preferences. His flexibility and dedication to my satisfaction was paramount and greatly appreciated. A & L Painting truly helped me transform my home. They went above and beyond to insure that I was happy and they certainly exceeded my expectations. The end result made my home look magazine ready and I could not have been more pleased. I have since then rehired A & L to help me with my basement renovation, and like the first project, they did not disappoint. Matt and crew not only expertly painted but went the extra mile helping with some dry wall issues that would have prevented a less than perfect product. It is evident that A & L Painting’s impeccable high standards combined with their commitment to customer satisfaction make them a company based purely on integrity and pride in their workmanship. I would highly recommend A & L Painting to anyone in need of any type of painting services. I look forward to working again with Matt and his team on my future home improvement projects.

I couldn't have asked for a better, more professional company to do my kitchen cabinets. As part of a major overhaul and home improvement project I choose Matt and his team to do my cabinets and boy did I make the right decision. I would not only use them again I will be referring them to every person I know that has any type of indoor painting job. I had a minor issue (that was my fault) because I had the floors redone and when they did the floors it left a little gap between the floor and where Matt did the painting on the cabinets....I called Matt to come paint the gap (fully expecting to pay) Matt came over quickly and didn't charge me.... This is great service and an amazing company.

As part of a major renovation, I engaged Matthew Coniglio (owner, A&L Painting) based on a referral and some online reviews I found. We wanted to have four (4) cabinets and two (2) bathroom vanities painted, and because of the other costs, there was a need for a good combination of reasonable cost and high value. Our main concern was to eliminate/minimize as much as possible having the oak grain pop out through the paint. Matt walked us through his process and the materials he would use and, understanding our concerns, offered to add an extra sanding step to further reduce the likelihood of the grain. He also said that if his process didn’t accomplish the goal of grain reduction, he would add another layer of material. After seeing photos of his previous work with oak cabinets online, we agreed to move forward. The net of it is simple. The job was done on Oct. 19, 2017. Matt & his crew were capable, focused and professional and did a superb job with the cabinets. They rotated through drying, sanding, painting the cabinets/vanities and finished everything in one (long) day. This included taping of edges and removal/reinstallation of hardware, doors, drawer fronts, etc. While we understood that there would be some grain showing, with Matt’s efforts, the result was much better than I had hoped and the grain is a non-issue. All at a price that was very competitive based on other quotes I received. A job well done. Highly recommend A&L and I will be using them again!
