Very disappointed!! He came highly recommended; thus, we trusted him and paid an "arm and a leg" for this horrible job on caulking, filling in the nail holes, and painting our newly installed wood trim throughout our house. We trusted him and made a horrible mistake for not getting all the facts. Totally feel that he took advantage of our naivete! Did a very sloppy and rushed job. We have poorly covered and sanded nail holes throughout the whole job (crown, base, casing). We have paint runs in multiple areas. Under our living room window casing he did even caulk nor painted the underside!! Left paint smears and splatters throughout our newly refinished hard wood floor and tried to blame my husband and myself and then told us how WE can clean up the paint. When pointing out the nail hole issue, I was given the comment, "well you'll just have to train your eye to see past it". Told us to use wood putty to fill in nail holes but he used Spackle. There are brush strokes everywhere. There are places where you can tell he only put one coat on!! Made us pay for the paint when that was never discussed! Just be very careful. I believe he can do a good job -- he just chose to rush and give us a half-way done job because, I believe, he was over-booked and didn't want to let go the job! Very poor ethics, in my humble opinion. This is what happens when you try to be nice!! BEWARE and get everything in writing. And, do your homework!!
