They were unable to make up a quart of paint from a gallon can made at Sherwin-Williams I know that the paint was 10 yrs. old but the formula was written on the can. They told me to go home and scrape a quarter size paint off my wall. Every attempt I tried, it broke into pieces. I brought the pieces to the store and was told no, it had to be a full unbroken piece. I had the original can. Even though the paint was dried out in the can,I don't understand why they couldn't get the sample from the inside lid. It was a perfect match to my walls. After 4 trips to the store and $26 for a quart (which we had no idea it would be that expensive!!), the paint did not match!
