I bought paint from Morgan's when I first moved to Hood River. I loved the feeling of being in a neighborhood business. People met up and chatted about paint. It was fun. The service was kind, patient and knowledgeable. They kept track of what I bought so when I needed more I could just send someone and they could get the right paint. And then I needed new blinds for my windows. I spent an hour picking out just the right ones but they cost more than I wanted to spend. They gave me the number of a man who could repair my old blinds and a year later I went back to get the ones I wanted. The installation happened quickly and I love them!

FIVE STARS for customer service. I LOVE this store and the service is above average! The only problem is that the hours do not work for me. I work from 8 - 5 and and then Saturday we have kids, cats, dogs and a kitchen to clean up. By the time I get into town, the store is closed. Doesn't make sense to me. Does anybody else feel the same way? Please be open for the rest of us women, who work and want to paint on the weekends =)

My five year old rates this shop a big zero after the way she was treated today by the owner. Jake his son however has always been very helpful. I didn't know that holding & looking at paint brushes then putting them back where they belong was a cause to be nasty, then snatch a roller out of her hand while at my side claiming she was playing with it. Needless to say I won't be returning again, I'll take my business elsewhere.
