Mike is battling a meth addiction. He currently does not complete any job on time. Or accordingly. Hes recently used acid products cleaning floors in the food the packing industry in distribution centers allowing acid to coat and cover mass product being actively distributed. He, on a regular basis, will mix and match old paints in his sheds to compensate for mass material needed on jobs. He guides his employess blindly into hazardous jobs offering no protection and no advance in pay. Lead paint grinding. Asbestos buildings. Acidic under ventilated areas. He will and has almost everytime added material onto the bill to either stock up on for personal use on other jobs and or return to get cash back to support his drug addiction. He has glazed windows with wood filler putty and finish painted it allowing owners to believe it's done properly with widow glazing. He has filled in every hole 4 inches or more with anything in sight. Then caulk then paint. He has landscaped glued whole pieces of wood to buildings and finish painted them to cover a mess underneath. He has spent whole days and nights cleaning floors of over spray when on a meth tangent wielding a spray gun. He continues to compete each job illegally not maintaining ANY form of insurance on his employees. He does nothing to code and will most likely sweep as much as possible under the rug trying to get by and get money quickly In a world where law is becoming a growing force in the labor world it's guaranteed mike will not abide by any law and will most likely attempt to rob you blind. It's a shame what meth does to indivduals. What once was a half was decent idea is now a meth run operation. Beware any and all busniess if you want anything done correct. And if you continue busniess. Ask for itemized reciepts with hours worked. Nothing will match up. keep track of your "time and material" because 75% of it your not actually recieving. All in all. One of top worst company's to deal with.

Outstanding!! Every time! Mike Rooney and crew complete several outstanding jobs on our home over several years. Mike gave spot on and complete estimates. The exterior job was a huge task, including 78 windows. Everything was burned or sanded and repaired before painting. Cracked window panes were restored. Copper details on the roof crests were repaired and painted beautifully. Mike even uncovered, and restored, by hand, magnificent copper panels hidden under layers of paint. Inside paining was precise and efficient. Mike is fabulous with assisting with the nuances of colour choice. Mike also restored a magnificent oak front door that had gone unloved for many years. Original wrought iron railings around the front porch were restored and painted. Mercer tile floors on the front porch and in the dining room were architecturally cleaned and restored, along with beautiful oak floors in our home. Mike and his crew are now family! They arrive on time and prepared and remain until the day's work is complete. The guys were always willing to answer questions and were cool if I needed to rethink something. They were fabulous to our children as well. I truly cannot say enough positive about Mike and his crew. There is not another contractor I have trusted more. That is saying alot as our home is an historic stone beauty with amazing original craftsmanship that requires a knowledgeable, precise, and expert touch. That is very difficult to fine these days. Mike clearly takes his work seriously. He takes pride in his work and is not happy until the client is happy. We actually had neighbors, and strangers, come up to us when Mike and crew were doing the exterior work to comment on what an amazing and thorough job being done. Mike has truly transformed my home and quite done justice to historic preservation!! Mike is the man for the job!!!
