They are the best at color and sheen matching and very knowledgeable about paints and wall coverings. I've always found them helpful. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for service, but that's because they take the time to help people thoroughly.

I was once in here to buy paint, and was told I couldn’t use my shower for a week. Instead of offering a solution they continued to tell me what to do with my own house. Very rude and very pushy. Do not recommend.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. After purchasing all my paint and supplies for a new home construction job I found that the whole-house matched paint color was slightly off. Things happen when matching and I had no intention of asking for corrected paint, nor my money back. I did, however, go back to the store to offer feedback regarding two paint brands that don't seem to color match well in the chosen white color I had purchased. Perhaps this information would help the store or a customer avoid a similar situation in the future. Instead of accepting the feedback I was informed by the man working at the counter that my assessment was incorrect. Despite arriving with samples the next day I was STILL told I was incorrect, that formulas had changed and the paint I felt matched wonderfully (that I purchased from Buss) must have been the wrong color, thus making everything else I purchased from them look wrong. I presented clear visual evidence and was still met with an inability to own up to the issue. I love Emmaus and support the town by buying local whenever I can but after this experience I will be looking for another paint supplier. Maybe if I was a contractor, or not perceived as an unknowledgeable female, I would have received better service. I would suggest saving yourself the time, money (same and similar paint supplies can be purchased at least 20% cheaper from big box home improvement stores or Sherwin Williams) and headache and shop somewhere else.

Been dealing with these guys for about 12 years and I would never go anywhere else if I needed professional and honest advice on what to use and how to do painting/staining right. I know I've saved time and money over the years thanks to their knowledge. Unfortunately they can't come to your home and do the job for you so the execution part is up to you, but going to Buss ensures you have the right paints for the job!! Keep up the great work guys!

Sells high-end paints which is a good quality. But one particular salesman is very rude when answering questions. Don't know his name. He should be reminded he is in the sales business and should be expected to answer questions about paints and painting supplies. It's really not that difficult.
