I indicated to female staff I was extremely hard of hearing when I went into the store. I read lips and have 2 hearing devices. when she spoke, she was in a VERY low tone and looked away from me so I had her repeat 100% of what she said. It happened again at the register with a male who was trying to calculate my wall paper purchase. Very low tone, muttering as it appeared he didnt know how to take a w.p. order. I told him i am deaf, he said, Oh ok, and continued in the same tone. I couldnt get a definite answer as to when my purchase would be in. They said up to 6 days and on day 4 they called and said it was in.That part was good. I send my spouse to get the paper and the girl calls and tells me we weer over charged. I say i will be in on Monday to address it. Then later she calls back and said she made an error, we were NOT over charged. SO WHICH CALL DO I BELIEVE!? She aid there was indeed sales tax on shipping. WHAT? Who charges state sales tax on shipping?
