Tellez Painting

We have hired Tellez Painting for the second time and are extremely satisfied. About two years ago they did a wonderful job and just last week we hired them again. We bought a rental home near Lackland AFB in the Liberty Island subdivision. The interior of my home was semi painted but looked as if a darker color was painted over with just one coat. Jesse the owner came and gave me an estimate and showed me how the previous painters failed to use the correct paint to cover up a dark preexisting color. Thus leaving streaks all over when it dried. They came in repainted my interior, did my trim and even suggested an accent wall that I ended up loving! They were completed within 5 days. Fast and friendly service for two jobs now with this company. Thank you Mr. Tellez for a job well done and I will definitely send my friends and family your way. I highly recommend this company. I hired Tellez & Sons Painting to paint the outside of my house and several rooms inside. I have an old house and the outside hadn't been painted in twenty years so it required carpentry work , replacement of shingle siding, and some masonry work, all of which Mr Tellez was able to handle. He and his son, Isaac, took their time with the necessary repairs and worked in brutally hot weather but never complained or quit early. Mr Tellez had excellent suggestions for color schemes which really enhanced the look of the house. In addition to a good eye for colors he suggested other improvements, such as, recessed lighting in the living room and dining room, a new ceiling fan, an accent wall behind the fireplace, and moving a chandelier to make it more visible. He added nice little touches like painting the inside of the book shelves a different color and he painted a table and chair set that was on the front porch. After the painting was done he removed the carpet and refinished the hard wood floors which had been covered for years. Being an old house there were several problems that arose but Mr Tellez always came up with a solution. He seemed really invested in making my house look great and he even hired a tree trimming crew to trim the front yard trees that were over grown. This job took six weeks to accomplish due to running into problems and adding extra rooms. I think the price I paid was reasonable. During this period Mr Tellez and his son were a pleasure to work with. They arrived on time, were very courteous, worked hard and steady all day, and had a nice sense of humor. It was a pleasure to have them on the property. My house turned out more elegant and beautiful then I ever anticipated. I look forward to working with them again someday.

I hired Tellez to pain the exterior of my home and this company was awesome. They showed up on time, texted me updates, finished within one day and even texted me pictures at the end of the day since I was unable to be there when they finished. The house looks great! I highly recommend them.

This is not a good review. The owner was very nice but not good business ethics. Not professional. We had some aluminum doors that needed to be painted within a couple of days.The owner said he could definitely do the job. A couple of days later upon pickup the doors did not look good. So Tellez Painting kept the doors for the weekend and said they would be ready by Monday. When They were picked up they looked ok from the inside the dark building. So they were loaded and brought home. But when we looked in the sun at the doors, it was TERRIBLE. All the paint was smudged and not acceptable. We called back right away and left a voicemail but no answer. We called everyday after that but no answer. They finally called back when we called from our managers number. We told them of the situation but they would not make things right. They say on their website they "do it right". But they did everything wrong with us. Sadly we had to hire someone else to fix the paint job and cost us more. Terrible experience for our small family business. Wish they could’ve just made things right and given part or full refund.

Great experience! We had Téllez texturize two bedrooms with orange peel and fix some damaged areas. I was very satisfied with the work.
