After completing the job I noticed that the guys did a horrible job on the patchwork of the ceiling. I had to stop payment on my check before they came back out. The painters came back at least 3X before the job was presentable. I later noticed that some of the painted areas were very patchy. I contacted the office and informed them of such I was informed that Erick, the owner, said he was not coming back out. I had to hire someone else to complete the job. I would never use A&B Painting again and would not refer this company to anyone. The price is extremely expensive and Erick will nickel and dime you for every thing.

Erick came out to our flood damaged home and lectured us on how to properly pick a contractor. We have received multiple bids from over 10 contractors before A&B. The other contractors ranged in price from 3,500-8,000. Erick's bid was 27k. I emailed him thinking he had made a mistake and he has refused to commute with us any further. keep shopping before you settle.

The first time I called they sent out a guy who couldn't quote the job and wasted two hours of my day. The second time I called they sent out Erick the owner. He was very nice and spent two hours going through my remodel plans with me. Erick said he would get me a quote in a week. I sent emails and follow up texts to confirm he received my emails as he never responded. The first week he replied to my text saying he would start working on the quote. The next week he replied to my text saying he would have it by Monday. The following Thursday he just stopped responding to me In general. At the end of the day I never got a quote and his company wasted 4 hours of my time over two different occasions. If something happened and he wasn't able to provide the quote he should have had the courtesy to let me know. Not good business manners!!!!

Erick Bedini and the staff and A & B Painting & Remodeling did an excellent job remodeling our master and guest bathrooms. The staff always showed up at the appointed time and Erick, the owner, took time to come by and check the progress and quality of the work almost every day. When the company which was to install our new mirror was to charge us for the removal of the old mirror, Erick sent a worker over from his company to remove it without charge. This was typical of how Erick handled the job - no nickel & diming. Erick and his staff were always professional and the work was always of high quality. The cost of the project was exactly what Erick quoted me, and this included small extras, which he included at no charge. I have recommended A & B Painting & Remodeling to numerous friends, and the ones that have already used him have been very happy with the work. I plan to have A & B Painting & Remodeling back shortly to do more work, because they do professional and quality work at a fair price.

I came to a written agreement via email with A&B Painting in Clear Lake in early August 2013 for the work that was being done in my home. They showed up the day of repair and did not have the supplies they needed. After they went to purchase supplies, they could not find what they needed, and called to cancel the appointment. After agreeing in writing that the supplies would not need to be “special ordered” I was informed over the phone that what they needed would need to be special ordered. The special ordered product was not at the same price we had agreed to, in writing. After informing A&B owner Erick over the phone that we did not want that part of the work done due to the difference in price, however we wanted the other piece of work completed as scheduled, I was told over the phone that the price that they had agreed to (in writing) was no longer valid due to the fact that they were not going to be doing any other work at my home. The owner was rude and condescending to me over the phone, telling me that the written proposal I had received was based upon all of the ‘estimated’ work being completed, though that was never what we had agreed to via email. This company is unreliable and untrustworthy, and I will never refer them to my family and friends in the Clear Lake area.
