Saved the day for me. Replacing my base boards and trying to match the stain I used a few years ago throughout the rest of my house. Went to the PPG store by Academy where I bought original stain thinking that would be best match. Product they sold me was nothing like the original, unfortunately my guy had applied it to 400' of base board. I went in to try to get help and they informed me it was a new way better product and offered Zero help. Drove to McCown Paint and they took my wood samples to the back and after several attempts found a match match that looks great. Only paint store in Beaumont I will use in the future.

I've used this store several times now for paints, stains and supplies. I've had excellent luck with the choices they recommended. The prices are very reasonable, and the materials are top notch. I've had great luck with Benjamin Moore paints: Advance for trimwork, and Aura for the walls. Coverage was excellent on the walls, and the trim paint dries smooth with no brush marks. I will definitely use them again.

Best customer service anywhere around. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and great products at fair prices.

Dear Teresa, I don't know how that could have happened the way you described it being as I have NEVER yelled at any of my employees, just ask any of them. I my have said you walls could get nasty with a flat finish on them vs an eggshell or satin finish. But too say your walls would be nasty is absurd.
