The bald man at the counter ignored me completely until a woman came and helped me. He also swore at least 11 times which is really unprofessional. 0/10 for the bald man.

I have stopped going to Sherwin- Williams because of the poor customer service. I buy a lot of paint being that I have several properties, this last visit to the State Street location was the straw that broke the camel's back. I went into the store to get a custom color mixed and I was the only one in the store, the girl told me it would take several hours to mix a quart of custom paint, then I asked about stains to which the answer was, "you will need to go to the Redwood store they don't handle stains". I thought this was a paint store, first she can't mix custom paint and then no stains. what do they sell Donuts? So I drove to Lowes and had my custom paint and stain mixed and out in less than 10 mins. I have a huge project coming up and need 30 plus gallons of paint, guess where I'm not buying my paint.

The best paint.

I had the best experience at this store yesterday. Scott, one of the employees, was extremely helpful. Even though this location caters mostly to contractors, he took a lot of time to help me with my personal paint purchases and projects for our home, giving tips and advice along the way--but without being pushy at all. So if you need ideas and advice for painting projects, I suggest hitting up Scott at this location.
