Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting

To say I am completely disappointed and heartbroken over my experience and the way my vehicle looks is an understatement. My experience here was a complete nightmare! The manager, Brooks, was by the most unprofessional manager I’ve ever encountered. Being a business owner myself, I’m appalled. My experience here was a long, expensive and tiring one and my vehicle has even more issues. I’ll start from the beginning… My husband took my car in for a quote stating he wanted it to be put back there brand new again by fixing all of the dents/scratches, painting the entire car the same color it was and fixing my door (broken hinge). After getting the quote we agreed and dropped the vehicle off. I rented a vehicle for a week while the completed the work only to come back to my car not even being the same color and chips in paint painted over. After bringing this to the managers attention he made the excuse of “we can’t guarantee to match the paint” well, it wasn’t that it wasn’t matched, they skipped an entire step!! He refused to make right and kept arguing that there was nothing he can do and he refused to take any responsibility for their faults. After going back and forth for a good half hour a gentleman that paints came out and offered to correct the issue with the paint and took accountability. Kudos to this gentleman for stepping up!! So again, I had to leave my car and pay for another rental…more expenses on my end from their neglect. I tried to be understanding knowing that people make mistakes and it’s how they are handled that matters. Well, I picked my car up today. Absolutely upset. Large chunk in my mirror gone, horrible overspray, they put a black emblem on my car that’s all chipped up…mind you mine was chrome. They did offer for me to bring my car back to clean up the overspray, however, enough is just enough. I truly do not trust my vehicle in the hands of this company. My door is completely broke now as well, but it’s truly not even worth addressing or dealing with them any further. I am leaving this review to hopefully save other car owners a lot of time, headache and money in the future. My car is completely ruined because of this company and I’m out over $3,000 (there invoice and car rentals) for something I have to turn around and have redone some where else, so by the end of this nightmare I’ll be out another $3,000. Just awful the whole way around!!

Paint quality is good for price, but they didn’t tell me my prep on surface wasn’t good enough. They painted Black paint over truck. Now it’s embarrassing driving around. All they had to do is call me and tell me surface isn’t prep right. I would’ve either paid them to do it right or put off paint till I fixed it. Now the new urethane paint has to stripped off down to metal and repainted.

Macco did an excellent job taking care of me and my truck. The paint looks better than I expected. Phil was professional and knowledgeable.

I got my 2011 Toyota Camry painted and they did a great job, thank you Phil and your team. We had excellent experience. God bless

They repainted my roof that was peeling. It’s matched up well and I’m pleased with how it turned out. The real test will be to see how well it holds up but it seems good so far.
