Do NOT use this guy! He is not licensed, not insured, talks a great game, charming, but is an out and out crook! Run, do not walk, from any business dealings with him. Read the reviews, we certainly should have!!!

My husband and I have hired John and his crew to do several painting projects both inside our house and out and each time the projects were completed quickly and professionally. We highly recommend Always Painting and will be using them for our future painting projects.

BEWARE! John Perry (Owner) is either Bi polar or just a plain crook! John came to our house and promised that he would do a "great job" for us. "We will take out any nails or screws, patch the holes and paint the house and we wont leave until you are happy with the finished product" John gave us a 3 day estimate for the job to be complete and took payment of $3,100 up front to get started, but in actuality it took 8 days to get to a semi complete state. Each day I had to call John to remind him to paint the ceiling, pull the nails, fix a window his crew knocked off the track and each time we spoke, John was a complete angel. "Yes Mike, we will fix it, don't worry" John would call his workers multiple times daily and press them to finish the job, which only made them work fast rather than work well. On a Wednesday the guys were working on my parents detached apartment and the fumes were too strong for them, so I got them in to a hotel for the night. Sometime between Wed night and Thursday afternoon Johns crew moved my parents furniture and tore the linoleum in 7 places. Mind you, my parents are in their 80's and couldn't move furniture if there life depended on it and I was in Portland, leaving only my wife at home. When my wife went in and saw the floor, she called me and sent pictures. I then turned around and sent them to John Perry. He stated and I quote "Mike, thanks for letting me know. Ill take care of it first thing in the morning. Don't worry, we will make it right" John also laid on a sob story about not having enough money to make payroll and could I please pay the remaining balance, even before the job was done. Although I knew it was a dumb move on my part, I paid him the remaining balance. It was only then that John flipped on a dime and stated "Mike, it's your word against mine. I'm not paying to fix that" and hung up on me. Please Please read the reviews and choose any other painter. By the way, John is no longer even licensed as a contractor in WA state. BUYER BEWARE!!!

This company is great to work with. Very detailed work.

They started early in the year, took our money and we have not seen them since. We have had periods of good weather and more siding could have been applied. They won't even call.

I have had Always Painting paint two of our down town properties and they did a wonderful job. I chose this company because I had noticed the great job they were doing on another downtown building. They gave us the best bid and won our business. This year I had them paint my house and again I am very pleased with the job done.
