I like to get a Groupon and alone to paint and sip. It's fun to paint but it's also fun to see who else goes to these things - first dates, anniversary celebration, birthday parties, etc. They do a nice job of instructing how to paint that evenings picture, some are more challenging than others in my opinion. Take your time, have fun, don't compare your painting to others! Every artist has their own unique style and perception (example: Picasso's version of the painting would be much different, as would Monet's or Renoir's).

It was fun for a night out with the girls. Parking & traffic were a nightmare, can't say that I would want to do it again just because of the logistics getting there. The staff was great though and we left with a fun painting. For the cost involved, it seems like one beverage should be included.

Wow! This was my first time doing Paint & Sip and I absolutely LOVED it. Canvas is pretty easy to get to (right in Fremont by the bridge). But keep in mind parking is very difficult due to the area. If you can, get to your class early so you can have time to park. And although my friend and I were a wee bit late to our class they were friendly and were able to catch us up. Most of the paintings you create are fairly simple - no more than a few steps - and the teacher is really helpful and fun! The painting is broken up step by step and between the teacher's instructions you get to buy drinks and listen to music. In the end I was super pleased with how mine turned out. Yes there will be people with better painting and worse paintings than yours - but who cares! It's a chance to express yourself and have fun with friends. I definitely recommend this for a birthday party/anniversary/ or just hanging out.

We had such a great time painting at CANVAS paint.sip.studio - the Seattle-Fremont location! We've painted at both of their locations and had a blast at each. Seattle is their smaller studio and Kirkland their largest. Fun owners - Laura and David - are great to talk to, too!
