Friendly staff. Nick helped so much! At first he was figuring out how to help us best and when we asked for more he went above and beyond to set up the whole contraption for us. Great service. Very appreciated for my family who is new to town.

I'll give you three stars because this is the first time I have ever had a bad experience in your store unless you consider it bad that I am smothered by your fine customer service everytime I am there. You are indeed aptly named "the helpful place." Next time, if you are going to be affable, and acquiesce a guest's request, please do so without the condescension. I'm not dumb, Ace. I understand how water works and I understand how anti-siphon faucets work. You sold me a defective one, and you did well by replacing it. Read on for more details of my experience. About nine months ago, I replaced my outdoor faucet because the valve broke. I got a Woodford freezeless anti-siphon faucet, which is about double the price of any of the other faucets they have. I figured, "the fancier one will be better, right?" Today, I went to turn on the water and found out that the new one had frozen and burst sometime in the last few months. We pretty much don't use the outside faucet from October through April so it's hard to say exactly when it happened. I went to Ace to see if Woodford has any guarantee on their product. The manager I spoke too told me they do not, and that they don't guarantee against freezing and bursting. I thought it odd that a product labeled "freezeless" is not guaranteed against freezing. After talking for a minute, a man in line behind me spoke up and assured me that I left my hose connected and it was my fault. I explained to him that my hose was not connected and that I am careful to drain everything if I use it during the winter. He again let me know that I left my hose connected, and it's my fault. It turns out, he is the owner of the store. He eventually told the manager to exchange it, but before leaving, informed me again that my hose was connected. The manager also reiterated to me four more times that my hose was connected.

I am blown away by the customer service of all the employees of this store. I was visiting my son this past week and needed items for his new home. Every time I went in the store someone was there waiting and made me feel like their life mission was to see I had every thing I needed. Many thanks to the staff and management, haven't seen this type of professional operations in YEARS!
